About Us

Our program is dedicated to fostering lifelong learning, promoting wellbeing, and bridging the educational gap for disadvantaged children.

We focus on communities with limited healthcare access, including those with new migrants, high social needs, and in rural or remote areas, working to eliminate vision impairment as an educational obstacle.

If left unaddressed, a vision impairment can affect the lifelong learning capabilities of a child. Glasses for Kids helps alleviate this by providing an onsite service to kids whilst they are at school, to address vision impairments that may have otherwise gone undiagnosed.

About Our Program

Free Vision Screening

The first step in our program is a vision screening conducted at the school, which helps pinpoint students who might need additional eye testing. This service is provided onsite at the school, ensuring that any undetected vision issues can be promptly identified and addressed.

Follow-Up Eye Testing

For those children who need it, an onsite eye test is conducted by an accredited optometrists on the same day, immediately following the initial vision screening.

Quality Glasses

For those students who are identified as having vision issues, we then provide them with custom made, high-quality glasses, ensuring that each child receives the perfect pair to aid their learning.
